Winter has well and truly arrived in NZ. It was freezing walking around with the locals this arvo.

The Tongariro Alpine Crossing

The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is one of the great walks of the world. Located in Middle  Earth and shadowed by Mt Doom, it's definitely one of the most unique landscapes you'll ever see. Armed with fresh legs, good shoes and the company of some good friends, the Clynes', Karla and I set off on the 20km slog. We were lucky to be blessed with perfect weather all day and it  ended perfectly as you will see at the bottom.......

To finish off a perfect day on the mountain........We're engaged!!!
