White Out
There were only a few brief moments of light piercing through the clouds this weekend which was a bit of a shame as conditions had been awesome all week and the park is looking really fun at Whakapapa. These are the first few shots from my new 300mm which just arrived this week.

Whakapapa
Mt Tongariro got angry for the first time in over 100 years last night, spewing ash and crap everywhere, so here's a few shots of the area looking a bit nicer last weekend. This was our first day on the mountain this winter joined by Karla, Joe and Leon. Fortunately the eruption hasn't ruined the ski fields so far and is business as usual, so here's to next weekend!
